Sort app store and product reviews into themes

Tag every new review with the themes it mentions, such as crashes, pricing, login or a missing feature, score its sentiment, and send the product team a weekly count instead of a spreadsheet to read.

The decision

A noul question per theme, because one review can mention a crash and the price at once: "the app crashes or freezes", "the price is too high", "logging in fails". Add a score from 1 to 5 for sentiment, and a noul question, "the reviewer describes a bug we could reproduce".

How to build it

  1. Export the last three months of reviews from App Store Connect, the Google Play Console or your shop.
  2. Write 8 to 12 themes, each as one plain condition, and ask them all of every review in one call.
  3. Keep the themes above 0.7 for each review, and store the sentiment score next to them.
  4. Post a weekly summary: the count per theme, how it changed since last week, and three example reviews for each rising theme.

Make it better

GLiNER2.5-Decide can also extract the phrase behind each theme, so the summary quotes reviewers instead of paraphrasing them. If your list of themes grows long, Lumma FEV takes up to 255 options in a single question.
